PREAMBLE

A minor and rather scrappy cliff with little of interest 150m west of Overton Cliff.

TIDAL STATUS

Non-tidal

BOLTING POLICY

No bolting.

ACCESS

From Overton village green, follow the road south-westward to a large gate where the road becomes a track (bridal path). Follow the track westwards for about a half-mile and then go through a metal kissing-gate. (12 minutes).

Follow the path downwards for about 90m and then turn left at a signpost. Follow the path downwards for about 90m and turn left.

Take this path down towards the sea for about 380 metres. Longhole Cliff will be on your right.

DESCENTS

Descend down a gully to the west (left) of the crag.

THE ROUTES

  1. Guano Groove 15m D
    A wide groove near the west end of the cliff to its highest point.

  2. Crack ‘N’ Up 15m S,4b
    Cracked left wall of obvious corner at east end of cliff. Start and finish direct.
