BOLTING POLICY
Sandstone quarry, bolts.
PREAMBLE
Obscure sandstone quarry in the woods close to the Tennant Canal just next to the flattened 19th century copper works, dedicated to making copper casings for shells and bullets. Park at Jersey Marine walk 30 min along canal then cross footbridge. 30 min. Very muddy after rain.
ACCESS
No problems, long walk along canal. If any one goes there could they strip and return any cleaning ropes as we have never worked up the enthusiasm to walk all the way back along the canal to collect them. Routes are covered in moss and loose rock, needs a good clean (15/1/24).
