Sunnybank

PREAMBLE

A small, easily accessible and disused quarry in Dunvant, Swansea.

About 15 seconds walk from limited parking, this old quarry would make a nice (if limited) local climbing/bouldering spot if someone were able to spend some time clearing it up.

ACCESS

At the mini-roundabout at Dunvant Square, take the turning south onto the small road (Voylart Road) and, after about 110 metres, and just before the road appears to split into three, you'll see a private car park on your right. The quarry is immediately behind this car park. You may be able to park carefully just outside the car park.

The land is almost certainly private property. What is needed is an enlightened owner and some climbers willing to put the work in. Possible community project?
